I did not enjoy what I played of it, unless you enjoy super fucking punishing loot. Like I dont expect rambo levels of ammo but raiding a guy for 1 or 2 bullets MAYBE was really lame especially after he was hosing you down.

I have a burning desire for a multiplayer STALKER game with permadeath.
Leverage the faction wars concept and make every faction joinable. Different factions work towards different goals as an overarching win condition. For example, destroy the zone as Duty, control the zone as bandits, stabilize the zone as the ecologists, prevent people from making wishes as Monolith, etc.
Another objective for individual players could be to reach the Monolith to make a wish, which would maybe reset the zone while also changing some fundamental characteristic of the wisher's choosing until the next wish. Areas could be opened or closed, amount of anomalies and mutants could change, etc.
Progressing through the zone should be a faction effort, but individuals and small groups should have the potential to infiltrate deeper as well. Making money for your faction by collecting artifacts to help them progress.
No/limited crafting or basebuilding. Upgrading and repairing gear for sure. Good quality equipment should be scarce and require that you collect more and more valuable artifacts to maintain it.
These are just scattered ideas and not super thought out, but I just fucking love the feel of the STALKER games and desperately want a multiplayer experience of some kind in that universe because I love tense tacticool multiplayer

This thread reminded me of a game I enjoyed ages ago. It was a horror fps set in Russia about time travel. Quite old iirc. The cutscenes almost always showed a fly for some symbolic reason. Don't remember the plot exactly but I think that a time machine accident turned people into zombies and the ending is main character going back in time to shoot whoever made it. I can't find what it was called for the life of me. Any help?
