OP, I wholeheartedly agree. Troy Baker is possibly the most overrated voice actor of all time. His "forced bass" voice is just utterly awful, absolutely pitiful and immersion-breaking. I fully admit that he has excellent range (hence why he's hired so often, he can play almost any male character) but the way he forces bass in his voice is so utterly awful.

I'll give you a perfect example. Troy Baker voiced Batman in the recent Telltale game. All you have to do is watch these ten seconds to understand it. From 14:30 to 14:40 of this video. Just ten seconds shows perfectly how Troy Baker destroys immersion. https://youtu.be/r_-Hnyx5mEo?t=14m30s
