Igor has been in every Persona game, acting as a guiding and supportive figure for the protagonists and steward of the Velvet Room. He performs Persona fusion and other services. He's scary looking but is nothing but helpful.

His Japanese voice actor died before Persona 5 completed development. They got a new voice for him, and turned his change of voice into a plot point.

max confidant is virtually impossible on a first playthrough, don't worry about it

save it for a NG+, where you can skip all the stat building and can blow through all palaces in one day without trying

I know a lot of people don't really like the bank but I think it was the best dungeon in terms of fitting the phantom thief theme. The combination of Price, the sound of your footsteps clacking around an empty bank, going through the keypads and the dim lighting was so good.
