This is the difference between manufactures and grassroots. Even if you fucking hate Melee and Smash overall, you have to respect the concentrated autism to carry the game where it is.

Its almost like Blizzard aren't, and have never been, good at Esports. Broodwar wasn't designed with it in mind, and its their best game that gets played competitively anyway. Blizzard just don't understand what makes their good games good.

Why would you waste your time getting professional level good at a game when you have to relearn entire characters every time the developers feel a need to break something
