You need 5s to get past the halfway point for a few social links and to even start the one for Haru

5 intelligence is required for rank 7 or 8 with STAR
5 Charm is required for rank 5 or 6 with PRIESTESS
5 Proficiency is required for rank 2 of EMPRESS
5 Kindness is required for rank 6 for HIEROPHANT
5 Guts is required for rank 7 or 8 of HANGED MAN

I think everything but kindness is required for the 3 big burger challenges, plus all the best item rewards from tests like BOSS UNDIES require 5 smarts.

How do I get my any higher? I am in early October currently doing the space dungeon, aren't I in endingish Territory there's no more books read and DVDs, video games are lackluster at leveling up.

Using DVD and games are a waste of time, you can increase your charm by hanging out with Ouya and Toranosuke , increase kindness by hanging out with the Get Smoked Kid and Soujiro and the plant at your room, increase guts by hanging out with Tae and doing the burger challenge, proficency by hanging out with Iwai and making tools, and you get knowlege by hanging out with Hifumin and the class quiz.

You still have like 2 months to max everyone. You can hang out with everybody until 24/12 except for Toranosuke, he goes to the elections and becomes unavailable after a certain date, I do't remember when though.

In the same vein, hanging with the STAR increases your knowledge by a small but, while hanging with the DEVIL increases your charm by a good bit. Definitely good to know early on to maximize confidant/social skill gain.
