There are plenty of examples, but Japanese comedy is only funny if you speak Japanese. The Japanese language is rich and vibrant, which allows for all sorts of creative wordplay that you'd never see in English.

I couldn't find a snippet of such an example, but in Ika Musume there was a scene where Eiko tried to speak English to a foreigner asking for directions. You'll never see this level of wordplay in western 'comedy'.

Japanese comedy is typically complete garbage, and way too overreliant on over the top gags. There is literally nothing out of Japan that can even touch Seinfeld in the comedy department.

As for games, there isn't a single Japanese game as funny as Leisure Suit Larry 1-7 or Sam & Max Hit The Road.

Japanese comedy is either based on wordplay so autistic you have to come from a nation of autists to even consider it funny, or beating up stupid people. The latter is something so fundamentally a part of the human comedic experience that is almost awe inspiring how much they can make it unfunny. They have two specific artforms, Rakugo and Manzai, that deal in both of those subjects separately, and both are so bereft of mirth they make German comedy look funny.
