It's a game based around japanese culture and is aesthetically influenced by anime, so if you're the kind of person who reacts with revulsion by the mere mention of Japan, it's probably not for you. P3 doesn't need a remake. It's fine as is and even if not controlling your teammates is a bit of a pain, it would be shitty to just remove it when there was a clear purpose behind it and the guy who got that into the game was very proud of it. Persona is about making friends, mainline SMT is about killing them. Both are great at what they do. P3 can be a bit of a slog aat times, but it pays off to a great ending. Don't let the time management of Persona bog you down too much, you can pretty easily just take your time with things, just leave yourself some room for deadlines.

Literally all you need to finish like 90%, if not all, the links on a NG run is Chihaya's rank 7 before you hit like september or something and some planning ahead. My playthrough was sub-optimal as shit for at least half the game, then I got that perk and ended up with all max links. Kawakami's is okay but don't listen to anyone prioritizing it over Chihaya.

More about blowing past everyone really. I did the Reaper/Despair on 12/9 and got to level 95 and blew past the rest of the game, and honestly I enjoy doing that in RPGs. I'm all for a challenge, but after 100 hours, you get a little impatient.
I think it's because I had a bad experience with Xenoblade Chronicles and wasn't able to beat it because everything killed me so easily once I got to Sword Valley, and I'm still in the process of playing it, but I restarted on Dolphin and did that level 50 exploit in the beginning.

Madarame's gold area with the Sayuris was the equivalent of that in his palace, it didn't even appear on maps.

Kaneshiro's final area was just a giant undistorted lock room, Futaba's also got pretty distorted but that was in the area right before the boss in the day of the heist, Okumura only had a normal factory before his treasure's location, and Sae and Shido's last areas looked the same compared to the rest of their dungeon.

Persona 3 has it so that if you ignore certain girls while ranking up another one you can piss the ignored girl off. This is especially dangerous in P3 because you don't even have a choice to just be friends with a girl in that game, you HAVE to romance them.
