It's been over a year now since consumer VR was released and they still have nothing but trash. I can't imagine how stupid you'd have to be to fall for it.

The problem isnt hardware, but rather software.
Given that major devs dont really give a fuck to port 99% of the real games, some of the vr devs should sit down and develop a proper render that converts any generic dx or opengl input into vr stuff.

Then the stuff will be worth it.

Noted. I plan on developing for Oculus now that I am done with college. Sounds like a viable concept. Might resort to keyboard for car steering though since requiring a driving wheel on top of touch controls and a VR headset seems even more ridiculous to ask for.

I think it's more likely the PS VR system will bring more people on board just because it'll have better software support, that's how sad the PC ecosystem is. Either that or a big price cut on the Vive to put it in the range of more people.
The only AAA games I've even heard are coming to PC VR platforms are Fallout 4 and Doom 4, almost everything else is indie crap.
