Also, why the fuck is this happening? I know these games use a vector engine to make its graphics instead of using 2D sprites, but it cant be that taxing, right?

If they could run perfectly fine on the PSP then it shouldn't have any trouble running on the PS4.

The thing is that vector scales different from pixels, maybe blowing up the resolution sky high makes it really taxing somehow while keeping it low res makes it more manageable to run
