It's been a while since I touched epsxe but I don't think you can, just pick a generalized setting and hope for the best.
Get Retrorach for per game settings or even just stand alone mednafen. as most things I've tried run pretty good.

Nigga tried to help with the options I know by personal experience. If your'e the epsxe anon, then the best I can come up with is setting up different epsxe emulators for specific games; because as far as I know, plugins are a general thing and not on a per game basis.

PS2 emulation will be shit until a new emulator exists.
Plugins were a mistake, Dolphin worked this out early, that's why it worked out so well.
Notice how PPSSPP, RPCS3, Xenia, CEMU, etc have all rapidly progressed by PCSX2 is still as shitty as ever - reject Plugins.

A good chunk of the reason is actually because emulating the emotion engine is one hell of a job. The reason things like CEMU and Dolphin progress so fast is access to things like documentation that shows people how things work software wise inside the console. N64 and PS2 notably don't have much and both have proprietary as fuck hardware. Meaning that emulation for both is a slow grind.

Why are the screen/internal resolution options for PCSXr so confusing? I once managed to have larger display resolution than the window, cutting off 75% of the game.
