>It was good for its time
What are some other excuses for objectively shit games that you hate?
> it's exclusive to my ps4
>Deus Ex
>Stealthing all around with a fucking stick / sword to not get fucked
>enable strength mods for half a second for full benefit and almost no cost
>fucking candy bars

>It was good for its time
I rather hate it when this line is used when a modern "re-imagining" is compared to an old game, like System Shock vs Bioshock or PS:T and new Numenera, or Daggerfall vs Oblivion/Skyrim, and people who never played those just dismiss it by saying
>It was good for its time, but the new one, on the other hand..
>muh atmosphere
I fall for it all the time, but it's a stupid excuse.
pepe is dead, stop abusing his corpse op

>It gets good X hours in
>It's fun
>>376393873
>rpg
>multiple ways to play the game
>only a few builds are actually viable and are required to beat the game
>It's good with friends

I'm not completely clear on what you're trying to say here
>It was made by a small studio
There's no excuse for lazy devs over-promising and over-reaching and delivering a shit game just because they're working alone or with a small team. Know your limits and work within your means and it will pay off.

Name me 2 (TWO) game like this
>>376393873
>be me
>play overwatch beta
>didn't liked it
>tell my buddies I didn't liked it
>"you say that only because you don't have the money to buy it!"
>mmo
>early game quests are boring fetch quests and mobs give meager xp outside of dungeons, bosses, and quest objectives
>dungeons/bosses have "level requirements" so you have to grind before you can do them
>me: "hey the game is kinda boring"
>friend: "it gets better later"
