Time was not the only problem, the PS3 hardware was really hard to program and developers only began to utilize it at the end of it's generation. Think back around the holidays of 2006, why get a PS3 when a 360 which is going to perform better and is more cheaper. The 360 throughout its whole lifespan beats the PS3, you are wrong sorry dude.

This game was so over hyped. Trial and error gameplay for the first few hours, then weapons weapons weapons. And then it wears out it's welcome by dragging on to long. Yes, as a alien game, it did justice to the franchise, but as a game just based on its mechanics, it was average at best.

Except they're not. PS3 constantly has problems either with AA or framerate when it comes to multiplats and vsync is a complete gamble. Just look as Mass Effect, Dead Space series, Assassin's Creed series, Asura's Wrath, Shadows of the Damned, Deadly Premonition (Both Red Seeds Profile and Director's Cut), Dragon's Dogma, Nier, Vanquish, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto IV, Borderlands series, Dark Souls series, and so on.

The 360 constantly runs better than the PS3 does on nearly all multiplat games or has some sort of edge in some way, usually vsync or framerate in the end. Yes, Bayonetta had the patch a while after release that lessened the issues and made it closer to the 360 version, but the 360 version was still superior in the end. Multiplats only really had parity when it came to Ubisoft at times (I believe Watch_Dogs and Far Cry 3 had parity), TT Games (Lego games were the same barring handheld versions), and Activision (Specifically Call of Duty) and it took until the last few years of its life before multiplats started running around the same as the 360 version.
