I played it on PS3 and enjoyed it despite its shortcomings.

Now I want to play it with M+K and a decent framerate.

But it's got boss battles. That makes it different from 99% of shootan games.

Vanquish wasn't as great as most people claim. Most of the game on higher difficulties is just abusing the slo-mo over and over and over.
Still funner then most TPSs, but it gets kinda boring after awhile, even with it only being 4 hours.

It seriously isn't all that great.

Outside of the obvious cool factor of the combat mechanics and some hilarious hype moments, there just isn't much here. The enemies and levels are uninspired and it's rather short and lacking in content.

I think Vanquish excites a lot of people that haven't played it because it sells itself very well in very short pieces of footage, kind of like DMC4; but just like that game the actual package is lacking. It undoubtedly has a very strong niche appeal though, but it's certainly not for everyone.
