Playing P5 made realize how great some of these characters were through their confidants, so it got me thinking; Why not a game these side characters as the main characters?
>Toranosuke Yoshida (Asura-Ou)
Wants to redeem himself and save the political world. Realizes everyone is to corrupt so he is led by Morgana into Palaces to save the political landscape of Japan
>Morgana (Zoro)
Same role as before
>Sojiro Sakura (Kohryu)
Friend of Yoshida from his government days. Brought out of retirement/hiding to avenge Wakaba when her killer is discovered by Yoshida. Plays the best bro role
>Munehisha Iwai (Attis)
Yoshida's contact back when he was still a shady politician. Brought into the party when the politician Iwai was helping started to blackmail him because of his son. Plays the powerhouse physical/gun role
>Tae Takemi (Alice)
Plays the healer/mage role. Wants to reform the healthcare system in Japan after losing so many patients due to lack of funds
>Chihaya Mifune
Tactical support role. Can't think of good persona or storyline reason other than some politician takes advantage of her and the gang saves her to stop Morgana from spamming "LOOKING GOOD YOSHIDA"
>Sadayo Kawakami (Ardha)
Wants to reform education system in Japan when her troubled student/lover is sent to juvie for a crime he didn't commit. Buffer/de-buffer role maybe?
>Sae Nijima (Messiah Picaro)
Plays the prosecutor that tries to stop you but ultimately joins you. Plays the megidola spam persona user.
>Masayoshi Shido (Metatron)
He originally convinces the gang that he wants to be the face of Japan and Yoshida places his trust in him until the betrayal at the end where he killsMishima after he overhears his true intentions. Uses curse/light spells.
Think of better Personas, stories, etc. Having Yoshida being the MC and not use the Fool arcana was just an idea. Just thinking up all these different possibilities wasfun

I was thinking Mishima being a kid who gets really inspired by Yoshida and starts a Yoshida for PM grass roots campaign.
Yoshida backs down when he realizes that Shido is the better candidate for PM of Japan, but Mishima discovers the truth and his death is scene first hand leading the final palace
