Knack's Director (Mark Cerny) was the lead architect and producer of the PlayStation 4, so I could seem him being allowed a sequel to it.
Although apparently he's aware of the first game's shortcomings and is trying to improve the sequel.

Definitely a case of "looks better in motion" even if the designs aren't really appealing to me. To be honest, I just want more 3D platforms to be made in this day in age in general since only Nintendo seems to have any of note in these days. Even then its mostly Mario.

Would be nice to have some more competition in that market, but I guess they aren't that popular.
