I played some of the game and I have thoughts. What was I thinking?

I hope the 2nd half is better. Samey environments, boring enemies, and tone deaf uninspiring voice work makes me think I'll not get that far.

I played it both on japanese and english.

My issues with jap audio is that it was annoying following the subtitles on an action packed game. Also the subs are kinda delayed and there's even subs missing (hacking pascal scene)

Also 9s screaming in japanese was annoying, but not as annoying as Eves screams. it sounded fucking retarded

2b and A2 are better in japanese though. Especially A2

I think it is fair though. Not to say that it needs to play exactly like MGRR or Bayonetta, but the combat should have more depth and be better balanced, since so much of the game is combat. The frustrating thing is that it has so many elements of Platinum action games (parry, witch time, dodge offset) but it doesn't come together correctly. Combat isn't satisfying.
