How powerful is the Switch?
In sheer flops, not very powerful. But it has a lot of aspects that allow it to punch above it's weight if utilized. Its around 30% or 40% of a PS4 maybe.

In between Xbox One and Wii U, but thanks to the graphics card, developers can optimize for better framerate by removal of QoL features like shadows and extra detail in the background, as seen in the video you posted.
See the patch that removes some details and shadows from Bomberman to jump from 30FPS multiplayer and story mode to 60FPS multiplayer and 45-60FPS story mode

Not as high but it's irrelevant because it's still in the same standard
It can play PS4 and Xbone games but not as highest settings as they can unless the devs personally work on using the hardware properly like Nintendo themselves does
It has Unreal Engine 4 and Unity so any game can work on it
as powerful as my mobile phone

1/4 of PS4. most of last gen games can run 1080p/30fps or 720p/60fps on switch but some current gen games cant run

mario kart 8 runs 1080 60 fps

MK8 was 720p/60fps on WiiU. whats the your point?

What's the point of powerful consoles anymore? The power of the hardware does not limit gameplay anymore like it used to, unless you go into VR.

The point is, people still use an underpowered PC for gaming instead of buying consoles which give a unique player experience like the Switch.

switch can run 1080p 60 fps
As consoles get more powerful it gets harder and harder to "measure" them like we used to with the old "Its just a better PS2" style of analysis, it also doesn't help Nintendo switched over to the green team hardware wise.
Something like FF15 would be a pipe dream to run on the Switch at all but something like FF7R is something that is possible based on engine support, that and being a handheld if they need to dumb something down its easier to hide.
The Switch in a nutshell is pretty much what people expected the jump from PS3 to PS4 to be, a big enough leap over PS3 to not feel like there isn't any progress but not a big enough leap to run everything PS4 can.

So could Wii U even. Smash 4 was the best example, and it was actually reasonably complex graphically.
Nintendo hardware isn't as weak as people think. It wasn't even "weak" at all until the Wii; GameCube mopped the floor with the PS2 hardware-wise (and no, the mini-discs don't factor into horsepower.)

The Wii U's worst feature hardware wise was its CPU that held back the entire system, its the biggest reason for lack of third party.
