It definitely has a lot of flaws from a gameplay perspective but what ended up being more memorable for me was the emotional impact it had on me.

It makes me very excited because I haven't felt that way about a game in a long time-- really just goes to show what sorts of emotion the medium is capable of evoking. Every time I revisit a part of the game I notice more and more flaws, but then every time that happens I also remember how I felt the very first time I played that part.

I'm very happy the game was made and has been so successful. Makes me incredibly excited for the future of video games, even in spite of its flaws.

It's one of my favorite games.
A lot of the mechanics are obtuse and not explained in the game though. I wouldn't worry about them too much for a first play through but it might be worth it to look up sidequests and how classes work on the wiki.
