Why is every boss weapon a great sword in this game? I'm

No, the majority are not great swords.

If you just want a long sword why does it need to be a boss weapon? The only boss weapon long sword I can remember using was the Fume Sword.

Clerics Candlestick, Lothrics Holy Sword, Valorheart (sort of), Demon's Scar, Frayed Blade

those are all boss weapons that are normal size swords

Greatsword is the most common single glass of boss weapon but other weapon types still have a presence

It's kind of an endgame weapon, but you can get it before doing the Ringed City DLC and it's actually very very good. It has a very good weaponart.

oh and if you want an early game boss straightsword, make the Cleric's Candlestick.

The icon makes it looks like a dagger or something but it's a straight sword. Not to be confused with the Scholar's Candlestick

the only boss weapon straightswords are the fume knight one and the lightsaber you get from the snow tiger
