So a while back I played UnReal World. I thought that shit was fucking excellent. Time being a resource you have to manage also. You have to go out and place traps where they make sense. You can track herds of reindeer. Have to dress warm for the winter and cool for the summer. Just a real complex survival game that's pretty difficult. Don't Starve helped scratch that itch but I'm still just dying for a good survival game that's not just 'run into town, shoot zombies, grab cans of food'.

I desire a game that is essentially a fusion of old school NFS, burnout and ridge racer. A game with exotic tracks that are highly stylised to the extreme ( future cities, barren deserts, tropical islands etc etc) that are raced on with fantastical cars. The early tiers will look like current super cars with the end game vehicles being designs that have no concept of any mechanical problems. Sleek edges, flowing wings, enormous exhausts - basically the ultimate pinup cars.

Gameplay would essentially be burnout speed and boosting but with a physics model that makes drifting slightly harder - not too far removed from GRID 2 now I think about it. There would be no tuner culture, no super serious closed track racing, just your car, the road and the smell of burning rubber. To a point it would be taking that suspension of disbelief that lets Wipeout shine and applying it to the combustion engine. Soundtrack wise it would be techno all day every day.

You run a shop selling pantsu. You can choose the designs and the AI buyers either like or hate it based on current trends that you have to pay attention to.
Various outside groups will try to use your shop to conduct 'other' kinds of business, or you may be extorted in which case you have to fight them off. The higher your popularity the more girls show up to help defend. You can hire security or buy various weapons(pantsu cannon)

You also have a rival store which is the last boss. The final campaign is beating her ridiculous sale prices for one whole week. By the end of the story she gives and you both join forces and form a franchise, happy ending, covered in pantsu

2018 LA noire sequel playing as another up and coming detective 15 years after the original

Every partner makes an appearance, Biggs on his deathbed, Buckowski as a grizzled veteran/partner, Rusty as a retired officer who is a main poi in a case or two, and Roy Earle as the new commissioner. Fuck Dunn, he stays a beat cop forever.

Main character played and modeled as Troy Baker, a Korean war private, witnessed shit but never pulled a full Phelps.

Graphics are updated, optimization isn't ass,
and there are ambiguous decisions in the game that play toward some kind of morality score that affects conversations and the ending.

3 intimidate
4 lie (no change)

Reason and intimidate would be interchangeable, but can garner different evidence.

Focus on the cool parts of the game.
The comfy environment, the story, the investigations, and the characters.

You only fire your gun like twice on each desk, and bullets hit like trucks. This isn't battlefield hardline or some Bullshit.

Tutorial shows a normal life in the time, and would show you all the mechanics of the game. You'd start as a 15 year old, and once you reach 20 you'd go to basic training and then the tutorial would end.


The actual game would be when you click officer of common soldier


You'd have to clean your weapons, shit, eat, stave off boredom, etc
You might get chosen to attack, or go over the top, or have to dig a new trench out, or support tanks as they attack.you could also get various illnesses and the like
The officer would have different objectives, like commanding troops, punishing people and commanding new trenches to be built, etc.


You'd make friends and enemies in the trenches, gain items through gambling, theft and the like. Like tea and chocolate and shit.

If you die you lose everything and get assigned as a random soldier, in the same "timeline" so if you die a year after the war starts, you'll still be a year after the war starts.
Of course, you can reset the war.


Your over-all objective would be to capture an enemy fortress, and you have to slowly fight your way through enemy lines to do this.

They'd be fighting back, of course. Trying to take your trenches.


A normal game could take forever, in theory.
You have to be lucky.
Losing would occur if you get pushed back to a certain point.


TL;DR: Realistic WW1 game with very little fighting, lots of dying and illness.

A game that's like offline EVE where all the other ships are NPCs/AI, there are simulated markets, and a long-as-fuck involved story along the lines of Star Control 2 combined with Homeworld(and in addition, side quests and mini mission lines unrelated to the main story sprinkled all over the explorable galaxy). A massive sense of scope for the area the game allows you to explore is also important. It should be possible to become nearly lost in deep space, with no easy or obvious way back besides the trail of breadcrumbs your own jumps formed.

Not really too complex and I could probably do it, but a Super Sentai based beat em up game.
Idea that I fought for a boss fight would be where halfway through a level, you fight the boss. At the end of the level, you fight him again, but finish it off with a finishing move, after that, he grows to giant size and you hit his body parts which try to get you. Last part would be where you fight him with your own mecha.
It would be mainly based off of earlier shows, with a general spy theme.

but all your knife can do is kill a single unaware/stunned guard, and even that will leave a body, bloodstains, and a gap in their patrols that the other guards will notice.

magic is vancian and you'd have to prepare what you think you'll need for each mission. you can go to locations beforehand to scout it out and plan what you might need.

if you use magic conspicuously (IE, in front of witnesses you leave alive, or with obvious traces of magic performed like doors blown off their hinges or guards killed with no physical trauma, or like in a smouldering pile of ashes, an entire guard crew doing strange nonsensical things like leaving doors unlocked and having no memory of who robbed them blind) you get the witch hunters on your trail. they'll fuck you up. mundane crimes like murder, robbery, vandalism get normal guardsmen on your trail.

Honestly I would love to see a Batman story utilize this with Mr. Freeze. Have all these heists going on and you track them down to these labs where they're clearly running weapons experiments or some shit. And at the center of it is Mr. Freeze. Blah blah blah, some things come to pass and you find out the real Mr. Freeze is more or less being held prisoner by a group who is using Nora as blackmail to force him to create weapons for them. Cue epic fight with Freeze imposter.

The ending would come down to you walking into Freeze's room where you discover that Freeze has basically been stuck in a state of immortality fueled by machines. Unable to kill himself he has been slowly trying to find a way to die without harming Nora. As if he refuses to comply they will wake her up and harm her. After a while he figures they'll kill her anyway, and she's basically dead so his main purpose is to die himself. But being held prisoner in a shell of a body makes that hard. So he's been tipping Batman off in anyway he can so they can come face to face.

So realizing that Freeze isn't truly a villain, more or less an accomplice who's lost all hope and humanity, you can choose to end his life or prolong it for "justice". And as a bonus, depending if it actually has emotional pull or not, if you choose to pull the plug on him. Nora wakes up, cured from her disease and first thing she says is "Victor?"

Imagine Front Mission, but with combined arms units. Infantry, vehicles, and mechs, all fully customizable with tons of equipment and part options, as well as plenty of skill choices. Make the balance solid so there's a reason to use all kinds of units rather than just one.
Now throw in Silent Storm 2's terrain destruction/penetration.

What I want is basically a modified version of what Destiny was originally marketed as. A explorable shared open universe with planets to fuck around with to shoot aliens or trade/mine resources/do bounties for alien or human towns/outposts (which you can raid and destroy) in these planets there would be dungeons like skyrim and animals to hunt outside. The way of leveling up would be exactly the same as Destiny 1 post TTK with the light infusion and it being easier to rank up.

You would fly from planet to planet but on the way comets and asteroid belts would have resources that you mine and there is satellites to "hack" (think of Watch Dogs) that reveal special locations of the planets, when you are flying there would be destroyed spaceships/alien ships (with stuff inside like logbooks/audiofiles,currencies,scrap and other things) and then there would be massive carriers that are huge as fuck with really rare resources/guns/armor but is infested with very high level enemies and players (like The Divisions dark zone) but if you don't want to do that you could just fast travel using a very small amount of your currency. Your spaceship that you start off with is a shitbox but as you progress through the game it gets larger/faster and can be used as a hub and as a social area and can be used to rally up people for missions,craft shit, read grimore and show off skulls and achievements you've done in the game.

It would have a campaign like Bungie originally wanted it. The multiplayer is begins very basic (TDM, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag etc.) but as you level up there is faction wars which would basically be exactly the same as Battlefield's 2142 Titan mode. Also Trails of Osiris would come back and be exactly the same. The endgame would be exactly the same as Destiny 1: strikes, heroic daily's, nightfall strikes and raids but the rewards are different like ridiculously over powered guns, different modes of transport other than the sparrows and stuff to add to your ship.

1) A zombie MMOFPS. Hundreds or thousands of players per instance, city setting, full looting and barricade systems. 'Dead Frontier' but FPS, MMO, and not pay-to-win.

2) An FPS built entirely around movement systems. There'd be a bunnyhop-based character, a grappling hook character, a skiing/surfing character, etc. Every character would have a gun which creates temporary (ie. fades after a few seconds) terrain when it hits a non-player, and the type of terrain would be different depending on the character's movement system.

The bunnyhop guy's gun might create little hop-scotch pads, the grappling hook guy would make stalagmites, the surfer/skiier would make slopes or hills, etc. Every gun would do more damage the faster you're moving. So there'd be a metagame of trying to go as fast as possible while creating favorable terrain for yourself and unfavorable terrain for the enemy.

Neither of these games will ever happen because their creation requires risks be taken, and developers can make hundreds of millions of dollars pumping out cashgrab sequels forever. Enjoy Battlefront 2, consumer drones. You'll never get anything better as long as you keep buying.

The closest that this has ever been created was those RP custom maps in WC3, like MRP and SotDRP. Though, they were still super limited from the models and stuff that the map had in it, along with the engine not really built for that type of stuff.

I would want it to be much more customizable with being able to play in any genre: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Modern etc. Anything that the players want to create their world in, they could. Of course this would never happen as it'll but a massive as fuck project with probably little to no interest so I doubt there would ever be a game like this.

I've always wanted a military mmorpg that plays like ARMA3 where you start out in 1 of a few different national military factions and do multiplayer pve/pvp missions OR you can form/join a clan and build up your own PMC base.

There would be missions and other things that unlock as your PMC becomes more and more prolific and powerful. You could steal engineers from another PMC to boost your R&D sections to unlock better attachments or other worthwhile technologies for your clan.

Level 1 clans are basically SYKA BYLATS with ak47s and hoodie jumpers and max level clans have experimental secret military technology (All within real world possibility).

I imagine the only way to balance this is that the top clans need a very full roster of active players to defend themselves and like... if your clan had the best engineer in the server then you're suddenly targeted by every clan that poses a threat or just wants to see your clan diminish.

My dream game is a monster hunting one. The combat is entirely physics based, with monsters having proper anatomy. If you throw a spear and hit its eye, that would take out the eye entirely. But if you get swiped by a claw it could cut you in two and kill you. Although it wouldn't be a combat system like Exanima when I mean physics based. I just mean that if you swing your sword and hit a leg, you would damage that leg realistically, cutting through fur and flesh to bone, or even cleaving it off if the force and sharpness was strong enough. I sort of imagine something like Souls where hitting R1 for example does a certain attack, but having more control in it. So maybe if you press R1 it swipes left to right, but you could modify it mid attack to get the outcome you really wanted, so you could be more reactionary to the monsters movements.

To actually kill (or be killed) would require realistic damage to be done. You couldn't just hack a toe, in fact you would just hack that part off. So you would have to go for vitals or bleeding out a monster, but they would all be different and have their own weakness and strengths.

It would be minimal in terms of UI. No menus for your items, they would be on you. It would just be you, your weapon and the elements as you struggle to get from one side of the island to the other.

I even have a whole universe and story in my mind as to why you are doing this, and where you are from and going, but thats not really a part of the actual gameplay.

A metroidvania game similar to Metroid, maybe with a more "serious" and "dark" tone although that's not needed, but the game is the size of the universe and a speedrun takes 100 hours to complete because the game is so massive and shock full of content.

Even better if it is just the Eve Online universe but offline, with super detailed and complex character customization, more than Eve currently has, tons more clothing options, improved cybernetic enhancements visuals, customization and functions, ship customization options, station and ship interiors that are so carefully and creatively built and designed with each faction having drastically different functional and aesthetic designs mimicking their spaceship designs, interiors that you could get lost in, because battles might take place, or you just want to explore.

And the story and lore of the game can actually move forward and maybe have multiple different paths that are wildly different depending on which faction you choose, which specialization you choose, and maybe it turns into more of an RPG as well, new specializations and skills for close quarters combat and weapons proficiency outside of spaceships, and the emphasis on being immortal but vulnerable if you over-extend or get too cocky should be greater than in Eve online.

It should allow you to fuck off into deep space and do whatever you want, maybe even switch between multiple clones so you can have one mining and being part of a mining corp and you recruit other NPC miners to mine for you, while another clone is out fighting or being a pirate, I dont know just a lot of depth and more utilization of having multiple clones like in the online portion.

Of course theres an underlying main storyline to follow and it can take many paths, and maybe sometimes its dynamic and changing so no playthrough will ever be exactly the same, it can allow for cooler and more impactful things to happen storywise than in Eve online, such as traversing to Jove Empire space, and initiating contact with them, a changing and dynamic universe unlike the static one of Eve online, which puts PvP over everything else, and so a great lore and story potential is underused and stagnant.

I've always wanted a proper game where I could build up an army of undead and wage war against the entire world. Malin's campaign in Wesnoth was way too fucking short, getting cockteased by the idea of humans teaming up with Orks and other subhumans to combat the undead menace just for the game to end in a fucking cave with the occasional adventurer showing up to slay me was just plain cruel.

I really crave more games with interesting and creative settings, with alternate reality and history usage like Ace Combat's Strangereal world, and within that style of crazy superweapons and craft, infilitrating enemy lines and engaging in massive battle with a team of fellow soldiers.

So think Ace Combat type Strangereal world, setting, battles and military manuevers and large scale operations but applied to things other than jet fighters

>infantry/mechanized infantry
>space
>alternate history WWI/II
>near/modern future alternate history

And in each of these settings you have a wide variety of vehicles of a type (spaceship, naval, tank, mecha) to choose and customize, refine, armored core style, battles involve multiple different areas of approach, with enemy AI responding accordingly. Large scale operations against enemy forces play out with you playing your small but important part in them, depending on what class and specialization of vehicle you've chosen and customized to your battle desires (arsenal ship, battleship, submarine, sniper tank, artillery, railgun sniper space fighter, aircraft carrier, space carrier, sniper mech, artillery mech, mobile suit fighter, etc..)

So each battle, at land sea or air or space (and some ops involve all at once) can play out differently, see a unique side of it, up close, far away providing supporting fire, launching missiles from a destroyer to intercept enemy orbital drops, flying a spaceship with a long range sniper to knock out enemy orbital installations, outfitting your mecha for underwater use and sneaking onto the enemy fleet and destroying it from up close - changing the tide of battle with your individual as well as team actions, responding to new threats and retreating if you encounter enemies you arent equipped to handle.

But that might be boring if you achieve all you can with your vehicle and cannot support or engage the enemy in a meaningful way anymore so maybe you can switch assets.
