Is anyone else disappointed at how boringly bad ME:A is?
It started off so promising, with the terrible images, animations, Godawful PR, blatant backpedaling, the usual suspects shilling for it, etc.
I had an absolute blast waiting for the real prize to drop and was expecting ME:A to be the goldmine, the definitive Bioware clusterfuck to keep us all busy for months.
Instead, it didn't even last a month before everyone got bored.

It was like expecting The Room and instead getting Manos.

I'm not sure about them catering to anybody back then. I think designers just created characters they wanted to see. I don't think there was ever a marketing guy telling them to send back the design to make it "more cute". Japanese companies do this a lot though.

Also, this RPG consists, mostly, of 4, completely linear missions.
Aside from that, there's nothing truly remarkable.
It's a franchise that exists because Bioware didn't want to keep paying the Star Wars license.

Really not half as bad as that in game. The only mistake was using that art to promote the game.
