No, that would be the first. 2 was actually decent.

Writing was bad but the game is solid. DLC was actually worth buying. More games should use the Diablo loot system.

BL2 was so disappointing compared to the first one. I think there was a fine line between being diablo with guns and bullshit MMO quests and they didn't walk that line with 2

it features krieg and i have yet to find a more fun character than him just because you didn't like it and only played through normal mode doesn't make it bad

For context, I tried this after everyone told me it was a superior version of Destiny. To be fair, overall it's a thousand times better than Destiny as an overall experience, but there's no way it deserves near perfect scores or GOTY awards. The gunplay is so trash. The weapons all feel like they were made of paper, controls don't feel tight, and shooting enemies isn't fun. Say what you want about Destiny, but at the very least shooting stuff- i.e. the majority of the game- is satisfying in it.
