That was definitely one of the biggest plot twists in AA I've ever seen

mass effect 3 was pretty up there, i was fully invested in the series and played for hundreds of hours and couldn't quite accept the ending as actually real, I kept thinking there must be a after-cutscene bit where you continue playing and see more ending. how wrong i was.

i knew about MGSV before i finished it because i played it quite late, so i wasnt mad, but it was a surprisingly shitty and empty game in places. the ending was just kojima shittery as usual to be honest and i never played mgs games for story so i wasn't bothered. the game was fun anyway so im not that mad.

Deus EX: Mankind Divided was one that felt particularly shitty, I watched the dev videos when it was released and the combat seemed really improved and fluid, however when i played there's so few missions and even then i kept finding myself backed into corners when playing and not making full use of the augs. I didn't enjoy the game much and even though the gameworld is pretty and nicely detailed, there's just soooo little to do. Prague feels like an empty setpiece waiting for something to ahppen, nobody moves anywhere, nothing ever changes, it;s just people sat around being sad or police standing around doing nothing. Hugely wasted potential in that game.
