That's far from the biggest problem, but your conclusion is still correct.
Victoria 2 is for you. EU4 is for retarded 12 year olds.
>>376113947
Are you coming from vicky or something?
>>376115406
>not coming from EUIII
>>376115287
This,finally EU4 will be playable
lmao who even plays eu4
eu3 with all the expansions is where it's at
paradox is shit at releasing actually complete games
>>376115406
Yes, the POP system is the greatest there is.
>>376115287
Is this the one that slows your game down to a crawl within the first 50 years? Is the optimisation coming in 9 days?
>>376116342
They said that it will be 30% faster than the previous version
>>376116453
I've been waiting for this. Looking forwards to giving it another bash.
>>376116342
M&T 1.xx was definitely real slow if your computer wasn't beastly, but 2.0 will be faster (still slower than vanilla, but you can see on stream that it's acceptably fast)
Remember though, the first 1 or 2 years are filled with tons of setup events, because sadly you can't just code everything to be on the map at start, so it'll always be slow. Put it on speed 1 and think about your strategy.

A combination of being shit at EU4 and RPing (thanks CK2) means I do that anyways. I go up to speed 3 when out of war. I'm going to watch some of those videos linked in >>376115287
tonight and then get into it when it drops.

Same, it would really help my immersion in Civ when I play it once every two years to have population in counts of hundred thousands instead of "this city has 8 citizens" I thought it was stupid when the game came out when I was 12 and I think it's stupid now.
