Let's see. Graphically, a halfway decent computer could do a better "HD treatment" with Dolphin than on the Wii U. But the official TWHD streamlines quests like Agitha's and has the Amiibo Wolf Link that can be leveled up and brought to Breath of the Wild. It's really just a matter of tastes.

Dolphin Ishiiruka makes shading moddable and people are experimenting

It's not as much of an improvement as WWHD but it does feature a few QOL improvements but furthermore it allows for 4x damage with no heart drops via Hero mode and the Ganondorf amiibo, which balances out the difficulty considerably IMO. My biggest complaint with TP always was how you basically had to have narcolepsy to die in it and HD fixed that so I can't really complain about it as a remaster - it did the one thing I wanted more than anything out of a TP rerelease.

Bug hunts have been trimmed down a little and gamepad functionality means the weapon swapping from WWHD makes a comeback. Hero Mode is back and combining it with the Ganondorf amiibo means shit can actually one-shot you in places. I can't think of any other gameplay fixes that stand out too much but to be fait I think TP is a lot less fucked than WW was so it didn't need it as badly.

Changes aren't as big as WWHD but they do lead to a better experience overall

It is the definitive version of the game and makes some changes that makes the experience more enjoyable, although Twilight Princess was a less flawed game than Wind Waker so there was less that needed changing.

Honestly, cash grab. While it did up the resolution and fix some problematic textures, there is still a lot of areas that look muddy. Epona also controls way worse for whatever goddamn reason they decided to change it. The extra wolf link stuff isn't worth it, even for BoTW.

However, it isn't a bad pickup if you can get it for $20-30 bucks, and it is on sale frequently. Its also the best (non-emulated) version you can get.

Its a cash grab but Hero mode with the ganondorf amiibo is some of the most fun I've had with a zelda game. Makes you actually care about getting hit even once.

It's mostly an improvement, but there's some weird performance issues the original releases didn't have, most notably if you play in Off TV mode which has some outright disgusting drops

It's definitely the best version of the game. The QoL improvements like reducing the tear hunting and the gamepad item switches/map makes the game much better. Graphics are touched up and a bit better too, and some of the amiibo interaction is fun.
