I got the steelbox edition of P5 for literally 50 cents more than the base game on Amazon.

I'm not gonna pay an extra 20-30 bucks for a steel book, but they do look nicer than the regular case.

Old WoW collector's edition might be worth it. I'm not sure how much it cost new, but I'm sure you could get a few hundred bucks just for the in-game pet.

I have 3 CE's:

-Dark Souls 2 - the cloth map is nice, the metal case is kind of uninspired, but the statue is pretty lazy. You have a very detailed Faraam armor, with an incredibly shitty stand and two swords that look like they melted or something. I still have it on display just to remind me not to pre-order CEs ever again.

-Warhammer 40K Space Marine - This one was dirt cheap but even so the only cool think about it was the box itself, which had one of those purity seal things. The artbook is pretty low-quality and not all that interesting.

Still got that OST somewhere. I like when companies do that. Like I ordered Yakuza 0 and got the edition with the business cards and business card holder. I'll never use it but hey, free shit.

I've only ever bought the collections editions for two games, MGSV and Persona 5. Both were definitely worth it, even if MGSV in particular was a huge disappointment. The robotic arm is still cool as hell.

The lunchbox was a decent carrying case, and the bobblehead is great on my desk. I don't mind the artbook either.
