op here, i was hurting for dosh for the first like 10 hours. found an ebony mine with like 50 or something pieces of raw ebony. had to make like 3 or 4 trips to get it all back to balmorra but i sold like 35 of them and am now rolling in it

most important:
-keep the green bar full. ALWAYS. It affects everything you do
-use the weapon you're skilled with
-'mana' does not regenerate. Charges in enchanted items do. You can have any spell from any school in an enchanted item, once you know what you're doing enchanting is king. So is alchemy.
-get "delayed dark brotherhood attack" and "solthsteim rummor fix" mods. They make the expansions parst of the universe and not something forcing itself in your face every fucking step.
extra tip:
-once you have some mone visit the town of Caldera and go to "General Store". They have some really cheap but useful magical items.

Honestly once you get to the point that you're killin Daedra regularly you'll be rolling in so much cash that you can just train up your x5s every level regardless of your Majors and Minors.

Nowadays I'll just make a class that I think is neat, completely ignore my modifiers for my first several levels, and once I've got money to spend I start just going to trainers and training something a bunch every time I level up. Min-maxing really isn't that hard in Morrowind if you know what you're doing. It's very forgiving if your goal is 100 every Attribute base.
