You would only need a SEN account to download actual DLC. Updates happen regardless of which account you're on. I've imported dozens of games and never once have I needed to sign into any of my regional accounts simply to update the game. It all works from my US one just fine.

Literally anything that isn't SEED is good to watch. Though my personal favorites are G Gundam and Zeta. Though Zeta is a very big bit political drama and a direct sequel to the original Gundam, so you might not get some of it.

In the realms of mecha in general, Big O is great and Macross is great for the most part.

I'm going through all the Gundam anime series right now, personally. Just finished the original 0079, I enjoyed it but it's obviously rushed the closer you get to the ending. Still, it's not a bad watch by any means. I've got 00 but I might just end up going through the rest of the Universal Century timeline before that. Honestly though, despite it not being a typical Gundam show, you can't go wrong with G. It's a lot of fun imo.

You can emulate all the PSP ones, which are all pretty good. Especially Gundam Vs. Gundam Next PLUS. There's also MS Gundam Online, which is a Japan only Battlefield clone of sorts? Hard to explain, and to set up, but pretty worth in my opinion. And then there's Windom XP. Which is a shovelware clone of Gundam Vs. Gundam, with a fuckton of mods if you look hard enough. Surprisingly solid for what it is.

OP here. Should probably mention for everyone, the vanilla version have gotten a reprinting as well. It's now called the Welcome Version and it's super cheap. If you're on the fence. Play-asia sells both versions physically, saves work across both, so does multiplayer. Sieg Zeon.

Don't expect it to come stateside. We're getting the new Gundam Versus by the grace of whatever God you want to thank, but Gundam shit in a rarity anywhere outside of Asia. Singapore is a natively English speaking country though, so importing Singapore versions of things is usually in English.

And yes, Gundam Breaker and the Gundam Versus series are two of the greatest Gundam game series around, and since both are giant fanservice dreammatch games there's nothing you really need to know ahead of time to enjoy them. GB is a really detailed Gunpla brawler and Gundam Vs. is a fantastic arena fighter. Emulate the PSP Gumdam Vs. game if you want to try it. Gundam Vs. Gundam Next PLUS.

I put quotation for a reason. As I said DIRECTLY FOLLOWING it's better if you prefer melee combat. Armored Core's melee combat is a single sword slash, a pilebunker, or a flying knee.
