The whole gimmick of the combat system is that you control two characters separately during combat at the same time, one on each screen fighting their own battle against the same enemies on different planes of existence. They just removed the upper screen combat entirely from the mobile version.

Why do people even want a sequel?

Don't get me wrong, TWEWY is great, but the plot was completely wrapped up with no loose ends. A sequel would just be the same thing with different characters.

There are more UGs so doesn't need to be a direct sequel, people want more of a good thing is all. Also that pic reminds me of the manga where it has Neku in Lapin Angelique, which is still slightly amusing that that's the best gear for him

I think it's the combination of likeable cast, solid attempt at creating its own visual and musical aesthetic, and total lack of anything that plays remotely like it.

Fuck I'd settle for a solid 3DS upgrade. Higher quality in the music, smoother animation, online tin-pin slammer, streetpass functionality, shit would have been amazing. But nooo they spend significantly more work cutting the gameplay in half for ipads.

One of my favorite games of all time, sequel never ever.

this game was mediocre and the music was fucking terrible.
on the unique battles i turned on the music to see if it was anything good, but most of the time i muted it.
i liked that douchey snake guy was actually benevolent though.

I'd kill for a remake with characters actually wearing the clothing and accessories. All the money would go into modeling a so rori desu dress for everyone, including Beat to fit on his body.

Kills me inside when JRPGs have 1001 different armor items with unique descriptions but you'll only see weapons change unless it's costume DLC.
