Hog is the single most OP character in the game currently. There is almost no situation in which is he actually bad. He's basically required at this point. Unlike rein, he can get an easy pick and instantly make a team fight a 5v6 instead of a 6v6

This. It's amazing how many people honestly only have 2-3 characters they "main" and have barely touched anything else or haven't at all, but will sit and scream about picks. People playing this game at anything over gold should have a few solid hours with at least 2 heroes from every category, yet they still stick with their shitall "mains" even when they could play a subpar ANYTHING ELSE and the team would benefit more from it.

He is a good pubstomper or if you're in a garbage tier (plat and lower), but in higher tiers "never a bad pick" title goes to Zarya, Ana, and S76. Zarya is a better character in hands of master/grandmaster player. She isn't good at getting picks, but can deny them and the overall utility she offers allow her to win teamfights.
