Poker is about reading and predicting your human opponents. This feels like false equivalency.

>men accept reality
>retards cry all day
really inspires thought
People who play poker are higher quality human beings on average. You need friends, you need to put money on the table, and the fact that it comes down to luck or grace is actually the central appeal (playing with money without all of the awful management). It's a pleasure to throw off the reigns and let the cards sort it all out.
Videogames are great but nothing else so effectively scoops up the lowest common denominator. If the luck aspect in games is treated as a scapegoat to brush off their own incompetence, it's because people who belong to this lower common denominator love their pathetic indignation a bit too much.

That's bullshit invented by Hollywood movies, it almost never comes into play. It's 99% a game of chance involving cards.

Then how are pro players so consistent?
>>376042056
It's a numbers game. King Queen offsuit? There's a (%) chance of winning before the flop.

except for all those that lost all the fucking money in poker and end up with debt to keep playng

Sure. Everything good can also function as an idiot trap.
