I mean, I've seen video games give you tools to distract enemies with. Rocks, remote control camera, sticky camera, whistling. But a fucking toy crossbow, is a distraction method I haven't come across. This game is alright.

So, how much of a Bioshock clone is the NuPrey?

>all those emails between the employees about it
>that guy asking if he could join their assassin-style crossbow game in the Arboretum
Pretty good.
There's also the dudes emailing eachother about playing D&D.

I don't think the setting is as striking as Bioshock or System Shock, but it's growing on me. The theme of mimics on top of mimics is so perfect for the theme of a video game I'm shocked it took a Team so long to delve in such a concept.

>THAC1
Fucking disgusting.
>>376023286
I mean gameplay-wise.

Why does it need to take 30% of the screen space tho?

>that lab room with post-it notes on every single loose item

It feels more like a mix of Dishonored and Deus Ex than anything Bioshock in how it plays. You can skip that comparison entirely.

But what if the "Not a mimic!" note is a mimic?

This game is pretty weird. The few reviews I've seen so far have been better than expected but the game is still being ignored by many. It seems clear the game isn't a 10/10 but it's pretty good. Problem is it looks like it'll bomb because nobody gives a shit

People felt burned after dishonored 2 and the constant bad mouthing didn't help.

This just proves how word-of-mouth, marketing, and reputation are the most important aspects of business. especially in gaming
