Rocket slime is actually god tier. Easily as good as the mainline dragon quest games, if not more so. Bought it on a whim, loved it.

Remakes have shitty sales even in Japan, and Western JRPG fans don't want to play downgraded games on a handheld. Releasing DQ8 (PS2) on PSN would probably sell better.
