I got on to play OW last night. I got in one game on quickplay, control point. Managed to not only win but get PotG as Reaper, and people said nice things.

I then promptly got off OW for the rest of the night knowing it could only go downhill from there and very quickly at that.

The only reason why people get so buttflustered over this game is that they can't solo carry a match

Back in the Halo 2 days (or rather, the days before 360/PS3) people actually fucking played the game right. They'd shoot people, go after high value targets, play for the capture point/flag/etc instead of just for kills, the list goes on. But now everyone just plays "the way I want" and it has completely ruined online games.

I've got to accept Genji players and kinda accept Widow players as well. Hanzo is still a tough one. The problem with them is that, even if they are good, they don't recognize when it's time to switch out for a more useful character.

At least edgy weebshit Genji mains who don't play anything else are spending their time constantly improving their aim, movement, reaction time, decision making, positioning, etc. every time they insta lock Genji and they have some semblance of skill at the higher ranks. That skill translates well to most of the other heroes, so if there are two Genji mains on a team one can switch to another high skill hero and be just as effective. Mercy mains who never play anything else are literally healbots, they spend dozens of hours just hanging back and holding M1. They have no skills that translate to other heroes so when the time comes that there are two Mercy mains, one of them is completely useless.
