Owner of a go, PSP 1000, and 2 1000 Vita's.
The vita blows the PSP out of the water, in screen quality, comfort, controls, layout, sound quality, battery. The ps1 and PSP emulation allows mapping of second joystick which alone is leaps above the PSP.

The vita screen runs at a fucked up resolution.
It makes all games look stretched / compacted and unnatural.
Everybody ive talked to has experienced this as well.
