Whenever I play something on a home console, my dad comes in and watches me play. If it's a JRPG he chimes in on the story a lot and "them wacky Japanese". He used to try playing games with me as a kid, but other than racing games he could never get a handle on them.

I tried bonding with my dad by getting GTA IV for him when it came out, he said it looked blurry as fuck and the graphics gave him a headache so he dropped it sometime after killing Vlad. Tried again with V, and he refused to play as the nigger so I had to unlock Michael for him, he enjoyed it after that.

I should probably at least be grateful they're weren't shitheads about videogames like some parents. Anybody here have strict parents? What was it like?

a few weeks ago I walked in on him watching you-know-what-scene from Fate/Kaleid

My Dad got me into Vida, he had a ps2 and we played co-op through Baldur gate or some shit, I was like 6 or 7 years old.

Now he thinks I'm addicted and constantly tells me I should stop playing them

my parents kinda had that almost happen, both of them married other people but then the people who they married both cheated on them with each other, that's how my parents met and then they got together.

So they basically swapped partners. They're still good friends weirdly enough.
