Sorry timmy, but I was actually alive and sentience back then, I was playing vidya when the first WW2 FPS, Medal of Honor game out on PS1. I bought every WW2 shooter on PS1, PS2, PC and OG Xbox. And I'm sorry to say, but it was an underdone, underrated setting that was viciously hated by a vocal minority of open homosexuals who try to rewrite history and pretend that's all their was.

Because it's not trying to invent much. It's not an innovative game, I don't think anyone claims as much. Yeah, it has the nemesis system, whoop de doo.

But it does what it wants to do very well. It's a great implementation of an older concept - that's not enough to make it a great game, but it's enough to make it good.

It also understands that it's a game and doesn't get in the way of itself with pointless bullshit. Some minor ubisoft marathon, but mostly you're just left to actually play the damn game.

I played Wolf 3D and I love the shit out of Return to Castle Wolfenstien but I would not say they were proper WW2 shooters. They just used parts of the based WW2 setting, it's a horror, sci fi (mean Wolf 3D has mecha suit Hitler for fucks sake). When I talk about WW2 games I mean historically accurate WW2 games that are actually about the fucking war, not just use the setting as a background.

Or do you consider Necrovision to be a good WW1 game?
