Why are console wars still a thing in this day and age? It's stupid to compare Nintendo to Sony because they're both doing entirely different things, especially now with the Switch out. And it's stupid to compare Sony to Xbox because the Xbone is quite literally a worse PS4. Brand loyalists seem to be louder than ever and it's very confusing.

If they finally give the switch some miku games I'm actually gonna buy it.

Because majority even if not poorfag still consider it an investment worthy of worry.
So in 90% cases all these wars is retard trying to justify their purchase and mostly lying to themselves it was worth it and better.
In reality any side is bunch of dumb fools

If you got out of your fucking basement for five seconds you'd see that brand loyalty is prevalent everywhere. People will defend and fight over their preferred choice of cars, beer, fast food, paper towels, hand soap, you name it. This is not a unique phenomenon and if you actually gave a shit about learning something you could easily look up the mountain of research that has been done on this subject instead of starting garbage threads like this one. Also Ringo is trash.

You are very correct by this statement

Falseflaggers and children needing to validate their mother's purchase
People will always try to find some form of group or tribe to belong to
It's how humans work

Consoles are still not economically viable for 99% of people in third-world shitholes like Brazil and Eastern Europe.

this
I miss /vint/
>>375910006
People want to defend their purchases to the point of attacking the purchases of others. It's some kind of societal instinct.
Console wars on /v/ especially are just shitposting and falseflagging.

>Aaaand it was nowhere to be seen in the top 20 chart the week it came out
Seems like nothing it's going to change after all, my bud

This. They don't have very many exclusives so its all they can really do.
