Hopefully, but sadly, I don't think so - I think she was featured so heavily in TLC as a nice way of teasing lore and tying into Inquisition, especially since it looks like the new game is going to be focused on Tevinter and it looks like Inquisition has taken Kieran's destiny away from him, at least for the time being..
Which is a shame, because I'd buy DAIV if the entire game was just Morrigan being a cute tsundere and doing cute tsundere things.

That said, who knows? I don't think it's particularly likely, but they could just declare one version of her 'canon' like they did with Anders, and include her.

It's interesting, especially in its departure from the Friendship romance - Hawke essentially takes the exact opposite opinion that she does in the Friendship route; ie that blood magic is too dangerous for any one person to use safely, and that Merrill is silly for thinking otherwise. I didn't play DA:I because I actually purchased DA:2 and am doing penance in a serbian prison for this, but isn't Ironic Bull supposed to be a spy or something? It stands to reason Sten being your average frontline soldier doesn't really understand the concept but this guy has at least a way to rationalise it within the qunari caste system. They both arrive at the same conclusion: men with tits.

This doesn't explain why you don't see any female qunari in DA2, and I'm not going to try and defend poor writing, but I can at least suggest that there is some internal logic that is consistent between this apparent travesty and the original presentation of the qunari in the first game: appearance doesn't ULTIMATELY seem to matter if you can demonstrate capability in your role.

That doesn't mean the Qunari aren't telling every teenaged wolfkin trying to say they're an accountant stuck in a breeder's body to fuck off or get lobotomized, but it might imply the qunari have a little wiggle room for square pegs in round holes when the peg is worth enough to bother keeping.

Not him, but I disliked all of it. They fucked up the central theme of the game and that is religion by not doing absolutely anything with it, for starters. Then they made the worst/most boring companions in one of their games to date. Couple that with a generally VERY weak and generic story, weak quests, poorly written and acted dialogue that sounds like it was written by a low rent Joss Whedon and the fact that most of the story happens because characters in it are retarded.

When you are actually exploring the world, the little details and interactions with small things (such as codex storylines) feel like they have received intrincate attention to make you understand the world.

Then you go on to the actual storyline and it feels like everything not only happens in under two minutes, but also through a rollercoaster of simplistic behavior.
The whole arc dedicated to the Grey Wardens just feels like someone in there went mentally challenged. I grasp that there are explanations to their behavior, but it doesn't change the fact that there could be so many factors involving past or current influences that could have led to more than "they evil, keelz them >:(" or "they okay, BUT STILL", the fact they even tackle in the possibility of

I think he will, since The Last Court proved he understands the lore and themes of Dragon Age perfectly, and combined with his character and narrative/descriptive writing style it was fantastic - it's actually my favourite of all the DA writing as far as lore is concerned. I agree, though I have to admit I did get into the game through Sunless Sea. A friend recommended by FL a while ago but I forgot about it completely.
We actually had quite a few good Sunless Sea/Fallen London threads last year, though they've slowed down considerably, with some really interesting discussion.

Fascinating is definitely the best word to describe it. I haven't played for very long (I'm in various stages of the beginner storylines) but what I have seen is absolutely enthralling, especially Christmas and the Feast of the Rose. I think I'm lucky in that I'm familiar with at least some of the world from Sunless Sea, but actually going through the stories, finding out the context of the world and experiencing the choices for myself is really enjoyable.
I'm really looking forward to Sunless Skies, too.

It's very easy to start playing, but the way the game works is you have a hub of storylets that are essentially things that you can do, and what story paths you have access to is based on your character's location. In that screenshot I'm in a place called Veilgarden. Choosing one of the stories leads me to another page where I have options to do things related to the story, which might require that I use items I have or roll the dice on a challenge based on the attributes I have, which you can see on the left side of the screen there.

It's like a very intricate extremely long choose your own adventure book with RPG elements.

The gameplay is pretty barebones. You get a limited number of actions, which you spend on activities in the game. The activities succeed or fail based on your skills + and RNG like in a tabletop RPG. The activities provide you with one or more currencies, develop your skills, and advance the story. As the game progresses, you may also spend (bet) currencies on activities. Most of the appeal is the text, which lets you learn more about the setting (which, despite its steampunk aspirations, is quite original) and go through fun little adventure stories. I've enjoyed it, in spite of myself, for at least the last couple of months.

It's free to play, but you can buy more actions or buy into "premium storylines" that they post at least once a month.

The other anons have the right of it, it doesn't look great and navigating the interface can take a little bit to get used to, but the writing ranges from good to incredible to insane (and fantastic), while being very memorable, and has one of my absolute favourite settings and lore ever. That might work, but it would also upset people a lot: many are expecting to get more closure, especially with romances. Playing 95% of the game with a romanced Dorian in the party or confronting a romanced Solas throughout the game with a nobody would be pretty lame, especially if the Inquisitor can suddenly be controlled only at the end for "one final decision". Making sure people are happy with the romances is one of the biggest objectives Bioware must have.

The Inquisitor can still work in the shadows, it's not like Solas and his agents won't discover who their new friends and allies are. What the Inquisitor really needs to do is stop working behind the Inquisition's façade and become a less important and "cumbersome" figure, and that's exactly what happens at the end of Trespasser, no matter the choice: either the Inquisition is disbanded and the Inquisitor only controls a small, unnamed organization, or the Inquisitor loses almost all their power and influence, giving the reins to the Divine and being free to act as they most prefer.

Varric is the most useless companion in DAI, which is shameful because his banter is top tier. His entire toolkit is better for a melee rogue, but he cannot use melee weapons...so he stays at long range and puts traps at his feet which never activate. I would drop him and run with Cole or Sera, whoever you like more.
It's a bad idea to do entire areas and forget the main quests. Main story has specific levels to be done at, and have good rewards for those levels. You should've sided with mages (redlcliffe) or templars(therinfal) before ever setting foot in storm coast or the mire. More areas will come naturally with the story.
How to respec: buy an amulet from your blacksmith at the base.
Blackwall is the best tank in the game, and you should spent his points only in vanguard and champion, have him wear weapon and shield.
The entire frost mage tree is awful, for you and companions, with only fade step valuable. For damage mages, go fire mine + passives, then your specialization, and then a few good ones in storm tree. For support mage, any mage companion can do, and just max out the spirit tree, and some shit in lightning.
Optimal party for you is tank(blackwall or cassandra) + cole or sera(AI is shit for melee, never backstabs, play whoever you choose with a bow) + support mage(anyone, choose whoever's personality you prefer) + you, if we assume you will be playing knight-enchanter.

Don't bother with the oasis unless you are a complete autist. You need to gather every single skull shard, there's like 120 of them, The reward behind the doors was 10 or 15% resistance to fire, spirit and ice.

Hopefully you're not on a console. There's a few must have mods like party banter fix, quick looting, and instant war table missions.

Vivienne is entirely wrong on every level about Cole and his utility. She's willing to automatically discard him over being a spirit; he turns out to be the best asset in the game by far.
