This game is basically a 1:1 version of DnD 3.5

If you like role playing games, or dnd, or both, try it.

Only do 1st and 3rd campaign tho

It's got a dance of rogues mod, that already makes it very good.

If you like rpgs and the world is new to you, I think you will enjoy it as there is a lot to take in even if the OC is a bit shit. Both expansions are better but playing the OC is a long journey and you can use the character you finish it with in the second expansion

First post best post. NWN1 was aggressively mediocre when it came out and it hasn't gotten any better since.

It's literally just an engine to play custom DnD campaigns on.

The standard campaigns are fairly stale and the online servers you will probably find are ERP hubs.

Some of the fanmade campaigns are probably good but I have no experience with those.

2 is better

If you've already played 2, definitely don't play 1

If you haven't played 2, play it instead

For some reason I could never get into NWN2 but I had a blast playing NWN1.

It just feels so much more solid. NWN2 always feels kinda disgusting to play.
