How's the grind for S rank? I didn't play a lot of Splatoon since I came into the game after there were no more Splatfests. Not only that but every lobby was full of Kanji and meta gear. I plan on playing the shit out of Splatoon 2

First time playing was pretty awful. Standard weapons with no gear, Lobbies consisted of 49's and 50's and one level 2, The only times I won were when I played with a friend who was 45 and experienced. It killed the game for me, I didn't even finish the single player content.
