Quality only gamer and a primary PC gamer here who bought a super cheap second hand ShitStation 3 for 10% of the original retail price and a ShitStation 4 for 25% of the original retail price. This way, Sony doesn't get any of my money for these garbage gaming devices.

The games I am enjoying on these garbage gaming devices are:

- NieR
- Demon's Souls
- Bloodborne: Game Of The Year Edition

How pathetic is that? These devices have been out for a combined what, 11-12 years? And they only have 2 good exclusives and 1 good multi-platform game they share with Xbox 360.

The future looks better though, these are the upcoming ShitStation 4 products that are interesting, I am not sure if I will buy them, but I am keeping an eye on them:

I got mine recently and been having a blast while only being on exclusive number four. At this rate I certainly don't regret it over upgrading my rig for a couple of games I'm only "eh" on.
Overall seems like a pretty sweet combo to me. Ps4 for exclusives, broken pc ports and other vidya with no apparent performance/graphics difference. PC for older games, grand strategy, other occasional exclusives, multiplats that aren't broken and vidya that benefits from mods.

Other than Bloodborne and Persona 5, I've also enjoyed Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 5 & 0, Nioh and FFXV. The Last Guardian is good if you enjoy that sort of thing, it's pretty much just ICO. I would have gotten Nier Automata on it, but I have a good PC so I got it on there instead. I'm looking forward to Wipeout next month, I fucking love those games. I got the Uncharted HD collection because it was dirt cheap and I actually had fun with those, enough to make me buy the 4th when that released, it was probably the best of all of them. I was surprised when I played them, they're not as bad as /v/ made me think. I might try out the Last of Us remaster at some point.

I know it's just my opinion but, I think the uncharted series is good fun especially on the harder difficulties. I'm not a fan of minecraft games, but DQ Builders is super nice and enjoyable. If you like KH, the PS4 version could possibly be the best way to play them, even though the game occasionally crashes during saving, which sucks. Yakuza 0 is charming.
I admit that I just might be easy to please, but, I'm okay with that.

You can’t discuss Sony favorably here in Nintardland. But I'll bite. It is the best and most affordable way to get 4k gaming. I don't give a fuck about checkerboarding or whatever, games that support it look insanely better at a fraction of the cost on PC.

Get a Pro and play the games with 4k support or close to. Uncharted is the best looking game ever made. Period. Horizon looks good but is kind of dull to me. Even shit like ESO is nice at that resolution.

Can you go PC? Of course. And if you already play in 4k there don't waste your money. But that bump in HDR mode on my OLED is pretty amazing and there are at least 10 games I find fun enough to justify the cost. Mileage varies but that's my stance.
