The only fact here is that none of you have any single idea of what's going on.
Konami wanted to be more profitable and make money faster, Triple A games take years to make, so they wanted to move to mobile phones, so they cancelled all their future Triple A games, and told Kojipro to release what they had on MGSV.
Since Kojima didn't want anything to do with phone games, he simply left.

But yes, /v/eddit, Konami totally is so sad that MGSV came out unfinished and I bet all those 60 year olds in suits spent weeks cleaning their tears with the money it was making.
