My last was Horizon, I lost a load of save data recently so that stopped me wanting to get Yakuza or Nioh. I just got EDF and I guess I'll get the platinum just by playing but it'll take something like 200 hours. There's 83 missions and to beat them all on each difficulty and with each character. That's 16 playthroughs

Uncharted 3. Just did it 4 days ago.

Most recent plat was Nier Automata

before that was DOOM 2016, which was surprisingly rare for how easy it was. You didn't even have to beat the game on Nightmare, just the first level and find all the collectables which I had 90% of anyway.

As someone who more than occasionally goes for platinum, I find they most make the game feel more tedious than they should be. Overwatch was probably my favorite to go for as all the trophies were a combination of luck and skill. It also made me pick characters I'd never have tried.

by the time you finish the game and all the side missions and challenges you have just about enough gems to buy all of Kat's upgrades and get the 40,000 gem achievement

Even after completing every mission, side quest, challenge, and even online content, you're vaguely near halfway to the 80,000 gem achievement. You can farm gems by mining, but that's boring as fuck, takes an eternity, and it literally requires random chance to take full advantage of

Oh, and all those gems that were scattered around the map don't respawn and Kat's power ups are 10x as expensive.

The last trophy I need to platinum the game is the 80,000 gems achievement and buying all the power ups, which go hand-in-hand.

No Mans Sky to try out the new updates (Pathfinder and Foundation and the permadeath mode). It's alright. It still has a long way to go and Sean is probably never going to fully recover. But it looks really good in 4K HDR on my 55" OLED tv. The lighting is fantastic but there is still fucking nothing to do in the game once you do the quests and buy a freighter and buy some ships and build a base and base vehicles. Nothing to find, no bosses, no epic space battles, no instances or dungeons, or something unique to find.

The game has content, but no gameplay content. It still has a long way to go. Still no multiplayer of any kind. You can visit other peoples bases, but you can only see the base.

I've never gotten Platinum or cared about achievements but I just bought the PS2 port GTAIII for PS4 (highly recommend it, it's the OG PS2 version) and thought it might be fun to try to get all the achievements.

Titanfall is so good game. I'm 100% mad that I'm never getting the platinum for it myself. My reflexes arent that good, so I gave up on it when I spend like week trying to get that speedrun for tutorial. Watched propably every possible video on youtube and what not, just can't pull it off no matter what.

Currently working on original Nier and losing my mind because I can't get the white moonflower to spawn. It's the last trophy I need.

Sometimes I wish I wouldnt be so autistic about the platinum trophies.
