There were mods for the gameplay for the random campaigns too, they changed the combat mechanics and other shit, game was fun as hell in multiplayer too

Yeah you should definitely check them out, they feel much more massive and epic than the original campaigns
They also follow historical battles around ww2 so you can learn a lot from it
