Am I the only one who doesn't lock on in these games? It's really obnoxious to see the camera move chaotically when the enemy moves. I always not lock on, and manually adjust the camera as needed.
if you don't lock on you miss the pure kino upwards camera panning when gael jumps and pulls out his crossbow

if i don't lock on i won't be able to see their movement when they jump away from sight, it makes it easier to learn their patterns really and makes it look kind of movie-like
only the king of the storms fight should never be played with lock on
if you dont lock on you risk getting stabbed in the butthole since you roll all over the place and might end up with the camera opposite of the boss

you think that's chaotic? never play m&b then

You can manually change the camera fool. I re-adjust it several times in a boss fight.

I usually don't lock.
Except if the fight is made 100% easier that way. But it's not usually the case.

most players prefer no lock-on in most situations. Many don't use it at all. You're not rare man

I don't lock on to boss like King of storm and Midir
>>375733749
I usually don't lock on against bosses like Deacons of the Deep or Midir. For every other boss, I typically lock on.
I would imagine a lot of people who started with des or das1 dont lock on, since they had the horrible 4-directional rolling which often only got you killed

Lock on for PvP and I want to do the strafe walk. There is no reason to ever use the lock on otherwise, you can't roll catch if you lock on.
