I honestly wish the game had some sort of a map, at least a simplified one, like in the Symphony of the Night. I have no problems navigating 3D spaces like in Dark Souls, but in a 2D platformers a lot of areas look kinda samey and some of the level design gets really tediously complicated later on (fuck the Ziggurat of Dust and Ruined Temple in particular).

Other than that, fantastic game.

Only flaw of the game is, it emulated everything about Souls games perfectly. Even the things that are broken with it. Weapon Balancing is shit across the entire game.

Not enough marketing. Releasing right before ds3. Local only coop. No npc summons. Some boss movesets are identical or too simple. No map. Final boss should have had more moves and health. Most of those are nitpicks and other than that it's a damn good game.

Guns shit on any other weapon
Reapers are literally a shitty Spear/Poleaxe with half the speed and half the moveset for inferior damage
There is no reason to bother with any faction other than GOLDFACE.jpg and the Betrayers
Games encourages sequence breaking after the castle of the storms but if you want the optimal route for the NPCs quest there's much less freedom involved
Some bosses are extremely easy for the zones they're in, see That Smell Most Foul
The hitboxes are pretty weird at times, see The Bloodless Prince bodyslam
Most of the mooks offer zero challenge while some of them are inexplicably strong despite being supposedly low tier
Parry destroys any weapon user without fail
Magic is 90% the same shit with different colours
Blessings are mostly pointless
The Nameless god is a joke of a boss in a game where most bosses are jokes

Other than that, pretty cool, impressive work for a two man team and already platted on Vita too, would support a sequel.

The only problem with her is when she goes offscreen and you can't see what the fuck she's doing, shields also cockblock her much like the battle with the Wyrm.
Just drink your golden wine, buff and shoot her to death like any other boss.

Despite a lot of shortcuts and fast-travel guides there's not that much reason to backtrack to certain areas.

IIRC that move is supposed to be unblockable/unevadeable since you're supposed to be close to him during the whole fight and he only uses that move when you are far away.

The graphics makes me think of that old flash game where you were a stick figure-like character with an X for a face who gunned down people. In screenshots the graphics looks pretty good, but when the characters move you can see how cheap it really is.

Most people find Witch of the Lake to be the hardest. I happened to be using one of the best builds to fight her, and didn’t have too much trouble.

I had the most trouble with Kraekan Wyrm, Kraekan Cyclops, and Nameless God.
