I don't own a Switch yet since I have WiiU and the only game that's coming this year is Mario Odyssey. I just don't see how the Switch is supposed to be competing with the PS4. Literally the only reason anyone bought it at launch was for Zelda. Everyone's done with Zelda and they're desperately clawing at every single game Nintendo tosses their way to validate their purchase.

Maybe they'll announce some stuff at E3 this year, but I don't have much hope for the Switch. It feels like a rerun of the Wii U; has a weak launch, but everyone keeps saying "More games are coming!", and, every couple of months, a single game gets released. But the length of time between game releases gets longer and longer, until they stop talking about it, and everyone just gives up on the thing.

I own a Wii U and have nothing but contempt for Splatoon and its fanbase. I've played the test fires and the game itself (after the Wii U was hacked) and there is just nothing fun about it. I mean I hate to call something a kids game because I absolutely love MK8 and I think that's as much of a kid's game as any, but it actually has really good gameplay, it has great courses, it has great music, everything about it is amazing.
