I think it's strange that people in western countries tend to ascribe games to a singular Japanese dev less than they do western ones. Like when talking about Uncharted no one goes "That's Amy Hennigs game." but when Grasshopper puts out a new game people will likely refer to it as Suda's new game. There are a fuck ton of people involved in movie making but the directors are viewed as far more important to a movie than a video game. I wonder why? Sure there are a lot of programmers and such involved that make that game possible but a Michael Bay movie has a ton of those same sorts working on making those big robots and explosions look as good as can be, and yet Transformers is a "Micahel Bay movie" whilst Uncharted is just a Naughty Dog game.
