I'm not trying to justify the pointless and tendentious shit that Ubisoft and Bioware are doing lately, but for example, some the characters I design and write in my games have different races or are from different countries, not because the ebin SJW movement, but because it makes it easier for the player to differentiate them and is always interesting from a writer's perspective to add different cultures and ideologies too.
